Chorley Theatre
Chorley Theatre first opened on 3rd September 1910 as the Empire Electric Picture Palace, making it one of the oldest still-operating purpose-built cinemas in the world. It is now a thriving multi-arts venue with plays, comedy, family shows, music and more alongside regular film and event cinema screenings.

Run entirely by volunteers the Theatre is fully equipped to present a great night out. The intimate auditorium is perfect for plays, musicals, comedy and music.​
Rivington Terraced Gardens
There’s always something happening at Rivington Terraced Gardens – with lots to do and activities for all ages and abilities. Attend one of the fun events, get involved in the conservation and repair project, join the garden and research team, or just come with the family for a great day out.
Lancaster Brewery
Our brewery has been built to be sustainable with our power coming from solar panels on our roof and all our used malt going to feed local free range pigs. We take the environment and our local community seriously, hosting a series of festivals each year at our Brewery site in Lancaster for people to enjoy.
We have opened up the site over time and developed it so that it is now one of the best places in Lancashire to host a party! Our beautiful brewery is open as a tap house for people to come and sample a pint daily, and we offer tours of our brewing process too.
